These centers are the most convenient places to access multiple resources in one visit, including air purifiers, masks, food kits, financial assistance, job transition help, health services, senior services, and more.
Health services include respiratory screenings, asthma assessments, blood pressure checks, eye and skin evaluations, mental health support, and care navigation. No appointment or insurance needed.
Dates and hours for any future resource centers will be announced on social media.
Emergency Housing
211 LA is able to provide free emergency housing for residents closest to the warehouse. To determine eligibility and book a stay, call 211 LA at 626-406-2786.
Note: This program is available to residents within a few blocks to the warehouse, bounded by Los Palos Street, Interstate 5, Noakes Street, and Hicks Avenue.
Air Quality and Odors

Masks and Air Purifiers

- Boyle Heights BusinessSource Center: Free commercial-grade air purifiers for businesses. Call (323) 568-1520.
- South Coast AQMD: Free HEPA air purifiers for eligible residents of Boyle Heights, East LA, and West Commerce. First-come, first-served — apply now, as processing takes time. Visit aqmd.gov or email 617airfiltration@aqmd.gov.
- Call 311 (City of LA) or 211 (LA County) for additional assistance.
Transportation
- DASH Boyle Heights route: fares waived, two additional buses running daily every 10-15 minutes.
- Cityride Dial-a-Ride: fares temporarily waived for seniors and people with disabilities. Van stationed at LAC+USC Medical Center daily, 6:30am-4:30pm. Call (213) 808-7433.
