The cleanup following the Lineage Logistics fire is underway, but the recovery for Boyle Heights and East LA is far from over. Strong odors remain as crews work to remove an estimated 85 million pounds of food waste. Lineage has committed to completing the cleanup within 45 days, and my office will be watching to make sure they follow through.
