Dear Rampart Village Neighbors,
I’m proud to share that ShineLA and my mobile district office are coming to Rampart Village for the very first time—and I’m honored to be hosting this historic cleanup alongside Mayor Karen Bass, LA Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez and LA Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez.
On Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we’ll gather at Larchmont Charter School (2801 W. 6th St., Los Angeles, CA 90057) and focus our efforts on the Occidental Medians, the half-mile stretch of greenery between Beverly Blvd and 6th Street. Together, we’ll clean up litter, and restore pride in this vital public space.
We’re also hosting a Resource Fair with exciting, family-friendly activities:
- 🌳 Free tree giveaways
- 💧 Free rain barrels
- ♻️ Composting pails
- 🧠 Recycling education tables
- 🎨 Arts and crafts booth for children
This is a celebration of community, collaboration, and care for our shared environment. With support from multiple city agencies—and your participation—we can transform the Occidental Medians into a beautiful, welcoming corridor that reflects the heart of Rampart Village and the spirit of Senate District 26.
We need volunteers! Whether you can join us for an hour or the full morning, your presence will make a meaningful impact.

Me enorgullece compartir que ShineLA y mi oficina móvil de distrito llegan a Rampart Village por primera vez, y es un honor para mí organizar esta histórica limpieza junto con la Alcaldesa Karen Bass y los Concejales Eunisses Hernández y Hugo Soto-Martínez.
El Sábado 25 de octubre, de 9:00 AM a 12:00 PM, nos reuniremos en la Escuela Autónoma Larchmont (2801 W. 6th St., Los Ángeles, CA 90057) y centraremos nuestros esfuerzos en la Medianía Occidental (Occidental Medians) —la media milla de vegetación entre Beverly Blvd y 6th Street. Juntos, limpiaremos la basura y restauraremos el orgullo por este espacio público vital.
También organizaremos una Feria de Recursos con emocionantes actividades para toda la familia:

- 💧 Barriles de lluvia gratuitos
- ♻️ Cubetas para reciclaje
- 🧠 Mesas educativas sobre reciclaje
- 🎨 Puesto de manualidades para niños
Esta es una celebración de la comunidad, la colaboración y el cuidado de nuestro entorno compartido. Con el apoyo de varias agencias municipales y su participación, podremos transformar la Medianía Occidental en un hermoso y acogedor corredor que refleje el corazón de Rampart Village y el espíritu del Distrito 26º Senatorial.
